What is a Dietitian
Accredited Practicing Dietitians (APDs) are recognised professionals with the qualifications and skills to provide expert nutrition and dietary advice. We give you simple steps to create meals and meal plans that achieve your diet and nutrition goals.
Dietitians are qualified to advise individuals and groups on nutrition related matters. They also have clinical training to modify diets to treat conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, cancers, gastro-intestinal diseases, food allergies and intolerances and overweight and obesity.
Yes. We have an on-site electronic rebate facility (ie. a direct debit EFTPOS machine) that connects to your health fund. You should receive a rebate from your health fund depending on what level of cover you have. There is also a gap payment.

Referrals are not necessary – you can attend treatment without a referral. Dietitians are primary care practitioners (ie. we are trained and certified to determine your pathway for better health).
